Learn About Alpacas, the World's Greatest Lifestyle Investment.
On Thursday, April 15th, Jim and a skiing friend, Tim,took off for Oklahomas City and The 2010 Futurity. 19 and 1/2 hours later we arrived in pouring rain. It never stopped for 3 days. The red dirt at the show facility was something I had never experienced before. On Saturday, we witnessed a very strong Suri Auction. On Sunday , the Suri Males showed first followed by females. Seeing we only had 3 males, we were done on Sunday and able to dead head back to Cleveland. All 3 did very well with Kenai placing 3rd behind 2 very strong Kahuna Males but in front of several others. Justin got a Reserve Championship and Twist got his Championship. We were all glad, especially the alpacas, to get back to the farm.
Keep up the good work, Twist is looking stronger each time out, knock them out at the Nationals. I know how hard your are working to get him where he is, but the big payoff is coming soon. Wish I could be there to watch him in action, get me some pictures. Bob & Peggy
