2010 Buckeye Alpaca Show
Sweetbriar once again attended the Buckeye show in Columbus, Ohio. What a weekend we had. With all Whites, Greys, and a Multi. we did not start showing till Sunday morning. The rookie (juvenile) girls went first with Saranac, out of Tidal Wave, taking 3rd in one class and Ashe (CR and Arizona Sage) winning the other juvenile class and taking the White Female Color Championship. What a start!! Just like her Mom.
The boys had to work hard to keep up but they did. Sundance and Shiloh were 1st in their classes with our little full accoyo CR boy, Kody, taking 2nd in his first show. Sunny, out of CR and Shasta, took the Reserve Championship in his first show.
Twist (Grey yearling) finally had enough males to get his Championship. He has had 7 opportunities at a Championship and has gotten either the Championship or Reserve in everyone. Justin was once again 1st in his class but no Championship was offered.
In Production, Kenai and Kody (both full accoyo out of CR) won Produce of Dam and Accoyo Crown Royale won Get of Sire with Kody, Sunny, and Ashe. As I said, what a weekend.
